A 'Green' Frizzell

This is how we do it:

Following an upgrade of our IT equipment we explored how we could responsibly dispose of the old kit.  We gave Oxfam our old PCs and monitors, which were then recycled, reused and cleaned of all data. 

Following our re-brand last year we still had some old brand stationery and general merchandise.  Rather than disposing of the redundant stock, one of our employees arranged to send it to an orphanage in Africa.

Last year we recycled 169 tonnes of paper and cardboard, equating to the weight of 30 African elephants.  Every month we recycle around 50,000 vending cups.

We are the main sponsors of LV=Kidzone, a beach safety scheme that helps reunite lost children with their parents on crowded beaches.  This scheme uses beach zones together with a free coloured wristband for children to wear, to help return them to their parents if they should get lost.

We sponsor this award winning interactive safety education centre for children.  The centre has a life size village designed to raise awareness of everyday safety.

On March 14th, 2008 almost 200 of our employees volunteered to take calls on behalf of Sport Relief.  In 6 hours they took 2,854 calls with pledges totalling nearly £100,000.
